Yes! As well as the Adventure aerial park and the cave, you can take full advantage of our 10 kilometers snowshoeing trails and ice stalactites and stalagmites are spectacular throughout the cold season.

Reservations are required so that we can take visitors around the site in an efficient way. Since we offer bilingual tours, and to meet demand, we offer flexible tour hours which vary from day to day.

You can drive here in about 35 minutes from Ottawa and 30 minutes from Hull/Gatineau.

Summer and winter, the temperature remains somewhere around 4°C.

In general, no. Sometimes in the spring, while the snow is melting, there can be some accumulation, but nothing major. We have special equipment to deal with the situation.

Absolutely!

To visit the cave, children must be 5 years old and up and accompanied by an adult. For school groups, children must be 6 years old.

Cave visits last about one hour fifteen minutes and crossing the aerial park takes about three-and-a-half hours.

You can stop at any time. There are exit areas between each trail. If you decide to stop completely, there is no refund.

You can stop for water or for a five-minute break, but the course must be completed within the three-and-a-half hours equipment rental period. The instructor may suggest skipping a trail if in their opinion you are taking too long to complete it.

Juices, soft drinks, snacks, ice cream, popsicles, chewy bars, will also be available throughout the day. Many tables are available, as well as a covered area for seated snacking.

Our activities are offered in good or bad weather, with the exeption of heavy rain, strong winds or thunder storms. During the winter season, Aventure Laflèche reserves the right to continue or cancel the activities due to the bad weather (heavy snow fall, hail, freezing rain, extreme cold, etc.).

In a case where the aerial park has been closed, you will be offered the choice to either move your reservation to an alternative date or be given a refund. Please note that if your reservation was also for the cave, the cave tours still remain open even, in the event rain. So your day is not a compete wash-out!

You should always contact us to make sure your activities have not been cancelled. In regards to our catering service, unfortunately the caterer cannot be cancelled on the same date. Therefore, you are still required to pay the full amount for this service. For all other fees (board room rental, etc.) please contact us in the morning prior to your visit to make alternative arrangements.

In our experience, a thunderstorm never lasts long. If it doesn’t look like it's going to clear up and we are forced to close the park, we will give out rainchecks. THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS.

Gift certificated are sold on-site and by phone. They are valid for 1 year.

We accept cash, debit, Visa and Master Card only to purchase items on the site.

You can visit our on-site Boutique Laflèche, where all kinds of original souvenirs are available.

During the winter, bats hibernate in the cave far from the regular tour route. We intentionally avoid this area because the slightest change in temperature can be fatal to our furry friends. It is possible that a bat has not followed the others and is hanging on a wall in the part of the cave that we visit, but they rarely move during the cold season. At the beginning of June the bats leave the cave and won’t return until next year. But don’t worry – there’s absolutely nothing to be afraid of.
