FAQ

1.    What is Arbraska?

Arbraska is the original and leader in tree top challenge game parks. Equipped with a safety harness and helmet you will explore a series of obstacle courses leading from tree to tree high above the ground. Our courses are made up of zip lines, Tarzan swings, balance logs, bridges and other unique and exciting games. Courses are at various heights and range in difficulty from beginner to expert, so there is truly something for just about everyone. Remember though, Arbraska is so much more than just tree top challenge game tours!

2.    What activities are offered?

The tree top challenge game tours are our specialty, but the fun doesn’t stop there! We over a with range of activities for the whole family.

We offer:

  • Tree top challenge game parks
  • Night Treks (explore our challenge game parks with light from a headlamp!)
  • GPS Rallies
  • Kids GPS Rallies
  • Tarzan Geocaching ( ½ GPS Rally + ½ Tree top tour)
  • Via Ferrata (climb along the side of cliffs on a series of ladders and walkways. Only offered at Rawdon park)
  • Tree Huggin’ (Climb straight up a tree with the use of rock climbing style hand holds. Only offered at Rawdon Park)
  • Team Building for corporate, school and sports groups.

3.    Do I need a reservation?

Yes, it is strongly recommend that you make a reservation for your visit with us. We have a limited number of harnesses and helmets and need to ensure we have equipment for you.

4.    How do I make a reservation?

You can make your reservation by calling our central office at 1-877-886-5500, then selecting the park you would like to make your reservation at, or by calling the park directly. We will be happy to answer all your questions and to book your reservation for you.

You can also request a reservation through our website. You must receive a confirmation back from us to ensure your reservation is complete. 

5.    How long will I be there?

Our tree top challenge game tours are 3 ½ -hours in length. The first half hours is when you will get your equipment on and do your safety orientation where we will explain the rules of the park and show you how to safely use your equipment. The next 3-hours will be spent exploring the tree top courses.

6.    How old do you have to be?

Kids as young as 5 years old can participate in the treetop course tours. The older you are the more courses you will have access to.

7.    What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable athletic clothing suitable for the temperatures that day, close-toed shoes like running or hiking shoes. Long hair should be tied back at all times. Please visit the Safety section of the website for more details on clothing and equipment.

8.    What should I bring with me?

All the necessary safety equipment will be provided for you. Aside from comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes, it is also a good idea to bring a water bottle, gloves and bug spray; these items are also sold on site.

9.    Do I need to fill out a Waiver?

All participants must fill out a Waiver before starting any activities. The Waiver will inform you of the potential physical and mental risks associated with the activities. You can either download and print the waiver from this website and fill it out before arriving, or obtain one once you arrive at Arbraska.

10. Are the activities supervised?

Yes, a guide will give you a safety orientation where they will explain the rules of the park, show you how to safely use your equipment, and watch you complete an orientation course. Once you understand all the rules you can progress through the rest of the park at your own speed, under the watch of ground and aerial guides.

11. What happens if it rains?

We climb rain or shine! We don’t let rain slow us down one bit, and Arbraska is totally safe in the rain. The only time we won’t climb is if there is thunder and lightning, or really high winds. When this happens we close our courses until the bad weather has passed, and get everyone back up climbing as quickly as possible.

12. What payment options are available?

You can pay for your climb by cash, debit card, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. We also accept cheques for corporate or school groups.

13. Do I need to make a deposit?

No, we do not require a deposit to make a reservation. You will pay for the full amount of your climb when you arrive on site for your climb. However, for groups of 10 or more people, a credit card number is required to make a reservation. In case of last minute cancellations, or failure to show up, a 10% charge will be made to this credit card.

14. Can children climb the courses on their own?

Children 14 years and under must be accompanied by an adult while climbing. Participants aged 14 – 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver before they will be permitted to climb.

15. Is Arbraska open all year?

All of our parks will be open for the 2013 season from March 16th to November 30th.
